POLICY OF BIOIBERICA
POLÍTICA INTEGRADA DE LA CALIDAD, MEDIOAMBIENTE, PREVENCIÓN, RIESGOS LABORALES Y RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL
GENERAL
- All the processes carried out in this company are based on compliance with legal and statutory requirements, the quality and safety of our products, respect for the environment, concern for people’s safety and good health, risk prevention, and corporate social responsibility, all of which ensures we are able to satisfy the people that form part of the organization, our clients and suppliers, society, our shareholders, and make a profit.
- Our aim is to strengthen the INNOVATION applied to the natural products sector in pharmacy, cosmetics, and diet, as well as aminoacids in agriculture, and plant and sea products, using our extraction techniques as well as other innovations, assessing and minimizing the repercussions on the Environment, and enhancing Safety and Occupational Risk Prevention in advance.
- We pay special attention to enhancing the quality of our products, processes, machinery, and installations, as well as assessing and supervising the repercussions our activities may have on the Environment and on people’s health.
- We set up and apply procedures to check the Quality, Environmental, and Safety and Occupational Risk Prevention policies. When these procedures entail measuring and testing, a register for the results will be organized and updated.
- We draft and update the procedures to be followed and the measures to be taken in the event any non-compliance with the policy, objectives, or goals as regards quality, environment and safety/prevention is discovered.
PRODUCT
- In the case of food products destined for human or animal consumption, the company undertakes to comply with Royal Decree 2207/1995 which establishes a HACCP System in order to identify, assess, control, and improve the hygiene regulations related to food products during the stages of preparation, manufacture, transformation, bottling/canning, storage, transportation, distribution, and handling, as well as when on sale to the consumer. In addition, the company undertakes to apply the guidelines of good manufacturing practices when drawing up a plan for food hygiene training.
ENVIRONMENT
- We undertake to continuously enhance the Environmental conditions focusing on the overall exploitation of the entire process, minimizing negative environmental aspects, preserving natural resources, and adopting measures to prevent accidental emissions.
- We collaborate with the public authorities in setting up and updating emergency procedures to minimize any possible impact an accident may have on the environment -and these may occur despite our efforts.
- We make all the information needed to understand the repercussions of the company’s activities on the environment available to the parties involved, and will maintain an open channel for discussion with interested interlocutors. An Environmental Report will be published on a periodic basis.
- We provide clients with appropriate indications s regards pertinent environmental aspects related to handling, use, and disposal of the products manufactured by the company.
PEOPLE
- We undertake to comply with and continuously improve the stipulations in Regulation SA8000 on Corporate Social Responsibility.
- We undertake to continuously improve the working conditions of our staff focusing on minimizing the risks to people’s health and personal safety at work and adopting measures to prevent incidents/accidents.
- We take the appropriate measures to ensure that those people working in the centre, and which have been contracted by the company, apply norms of quality, safety/prevention, environment, and social responsibility that are equivalent to those applied by the company itself.
TRAINING
- We undertake to increase the amount of continued training and instruction of our staff in all areas of the company. We aim to reinforce training in risk prevention for people’s safety and good health in an effort to raise awareness among all our staff that everyone’s personal safety and good health is a priority and, furthermore, that this is everyone’s responsibility. Each individual must act to ensure they do not unnecessarily put themselves, others, or the environment at risk.
