Each tablet of COSEQUIN ® Taste contains:

Glucosamine HCl (purity >99%) 400 mg

Chondroitin sulphate (100% purity) 300 mg

Hydrolyzed Collagen (Type II) 30 mg

Vitamin E 25 mg

Available in packs of 60, 100, 140 and 240 tablets.

The Chondroitin Sulfate is an essential component of the cartilage matrix, and is primarily responsible for a proper hydration. It is essential for maintaining the elasticity and flexibility of the joint, minimizing its degradation.

Glucosamine increases the synthesis of matrix components by the chondrocytes, particularly in elderly animals whose rate of synthesis of glycosaminoglycans decreases with age.

The synergistic action of Chondroitin Sulfate and Glucosamine doubles the power of this chondroprotective drug.

Collagen (type II) is specific to the joint and its fiber structure makes the whole matrix consistent.

Vitamin E prevents the appearance of osteocondrals disorders and limits the formation of free radicals associated with osteoarthritis.

In dogs and cats with arthritis and degenerative processes of the articular cartilage due to aging, high-intensity exercise and overweight.

In puppies of large breeds with high-grade hip dysplasia, to limit the onset of osteoarthritis.

After joint surgery or posttraumatic conditions, to ensure a better recovery of the animal.

COSEQUIN ® Taste is very palatable due to its flavor, making easier the administration of the tablets to the animal. The tablets can be given before, during, after or with meals. Tablets can be divided into pieces for smaller animals.

Tablets should be administered orally in A SINGLE DAILY DOSE, according to the following dosage:

DOGS:

- Up to 10 kg: 1 tablet daily

- 10 to 20 kg: 2 tablets daily

- 20 to 40 kg: 3 tablets daily

- Over 40 kg: 4 tablets daily

CATS:

- Up to 5 kg: 1 / 2 tablet daily

- Over 5 kg: 1 tablet daily

COSEQUIN ® Taste should be administered during 40 days and discontinued during 2-3 months after this period, as instructed by the veterinarian, and then restart the administration following the same cycle.

Thanks to its composition, COSEQUIN ® Taste ensures a PROLONGED BENEFICIAL EFFECT on the joints of the dog during 3 montsh with a 40-day administration period.

In chronic cases, and depending on the clinical symptoms, after completion of the administration during 40 days, you can apply a pattern of maintenance, reducing the dose slowly every fifteen days until a dose comfortable for the animal.
