| Is physical activity beneficial for osteoarthritis? |
| Physical exercise is very beneficial for arthritis: walking, biking, and swimming moderately on a regular basis (several times a week for about 30 minutes). If the exercise results in pain or pain lasts more than an hour after finishing the exercise, its intensity should be reduced. Keep in mind that you should rest during an outbreak of pain.
