When is Hyal-JointTM recommended?
|
To nourish the synovial fluid thus promoting a soft movement of the joint.
It has been demonstrated that the sodium hyaluronate content of both the synovial fluid and cartilage is decreased in osteoarthritic joints.
An insufficient quantity of sodium hyaluronate affects the quality of the synovial fluid and, consequently, the performance and health of the joint.
In a healthy knee, sodium hyaluronate has a concentration between 2,5-4 mg/ml.
This concentration is reduced two to three times in osteoarthitic (OA) joints.
