Dr. Toni Bové presented Bioiberica’s product to football club specialists

On 21 April, Dr. Toni Bové, FC Barcelona’s physiotherapist and one of Spain’s most noted specialists, presented Physicool during the Global Sports Innovation Center’s Innovation Day that was held at the FC Barcelona Training center at Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona.

Physicool is the only bandage that combines cold, compression, and support to provide immediate relief to inflammations of muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Its characteristics make it the ideal tool for physiotherapists and athletes, because it allows them to apply the RICE technique (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) to treat soft tissue injuries in a quick and efficient way.

The Physicool bandage includes an evaporative cooling substance that prevents burns caused by ice packets. In addition, its cooling effect lasts longer than ice. The compression applied by the bandage helps to modulate the inflammatory response, helping to bring about an optimal recovery of the affected tissue.

These characteristics explain why many professionals recommend the use of Physicool both to treat sports injuries in the tendinous or muscular tissue, as well as to accelerate the recovery process after engaging in athletic activities.

Dr. Bové discussed the uses of Physicool with the attendees, which included members of FC Barcelona’s coaching team and executive staff.
