Klorexivet®

Disinfects and protects like a second skin
What is it? What is it for?

Klorexivet® has an innovative galenic formulation which favours the formation of a film on the affected area which acts as a protective barrier and helps to enhance chlorhexidine activity. This allows you to use the product in smaller amounts and protects the skin forming a bioadhesive film.

Klorexivet® cleanses and protects animal skin thanks to its antiseptic action. Once the area has been treated, a suitable environment is generated to avoid microbial overgrowth and favor the optimal state of the skin.

In addition to chlorhexidine, ethanol provides a short-term antiseptic effect. Moreover, menthol and thymol provide both antiseptic and analgesic action with a cooling effect, providing freshness and relief.

Composition per bottle

  • Chlorhexidine digluconate, 20 mg/g
  • Ethanol (solvent)
  • Menthol
  • Thymol

Dosing and form of administration

Shake the bottle well before use and spray on the wound at a distance of 10-12 cm. After the application, do not touch for at least 2 minutes to allow the bioadhesive film to form.

Spray generously (2-3 times for every 5 cm of wound) on the affected area 2 to 3 times per day. After a prolonged period without using KLOREXIVET®, shake vigorously and press or spray repeatedly until the product appears.

It can be sprayed on mucous membranes and the outer ear. Do not apply on the eyes. In case of spraying into the eyes, remove the product with plenty of water.

KLOREXIVET® has a bitter taste which discourages pets from licking the wound, allowing the product to remain on the area to which it has been applied for a prolonged period.
