Climate change is the biggest environmental challenge faced by society today. Bioiberica presents its climate strategy, its future challenges and its first objectives achieved.

A circular bioeconomy company

Bioiberica delivers a truly circular economy, driven by our ambition to be a zero-waste company. In doing so, we create products and materials that are  safe for human health and the environment, and which can be reused perpetually through biological and technical processes. 

We only source raw materials that are 100%  biologically-based. From our manufacturing processes, used to develop pharmaceutical and nutraceutical  products for human and companion animal health,  we are able to obtain valuable co-products. These materials are then utilised to create added-value feed ingredients and biostimulants. 

In addition, our processes are designed to minimise consumption of water, energy and auxiliary raw materials, and therefore our impact on the environment. This results in a final product that is 100% biological,  while also being environmentally friendly.

For the third year in a row, we renewed our EcoVadis certification with the silver medal

EcoVadis is a leading global organization dedicated to rating corporate social responsibility and sustainability based on labor practices and human rights. the environment, ethics and sustainable procurement.

This certification is the result of Bioiberica's true commitment to sustainability, production excellence and ethics.

The UN General Assembly set the Sustainable Development Goals in the 2030 Agenda, a set of global goals to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. The SDGs reflect the most significant needs of the planet and humanity and, therefore, are a compendium of the most relevant risks and opportunities that any organization will have to face in the coming years.

In 2024 we have renewed our CSR Management System certificate aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SG-CSR-SDGS).
Thanks to the teamwork of the entire company, we currently have 10 Sustainable Development Goals. We will continue to work to deliver on the United Nations 2030 Agenda and thus continue to contribute as a company to the plan to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
