Cookies Policy

The purpose of this cookie policy is to provide clear and precise information about the cookies used on our website.

We use first and third-party cookies to improve our services, personalise our website, make it easier for users to browse, provide you with a better experience using the website, identify problems to improve it, collect usage measurements and statistics and show you advertising related to your preferences by analysing the use of the website.

Please note that we may use cookies on your computer provided that you have given your consent, except where cookies are necessary for browsing our website. If you give your consent, we may use cookies to enable us to learn more about your preferences and to customise our website according to your individual interests.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to provide correct site functioning.

TYPES OF COOKIES:

Types of cookies depending on the entity that manages them:

  • First-party cookies: these are sent to the user's terminal from a computer or domain managed by the website owner and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: these are sent to the user's terminal from a computer or domain that is not managed by the owner of the website from which the service requested by the user is provided, but by another entity that processes data obtained through the cookies. Likewise,  cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by the website owner but the information collected is managed by a third party will also be considered as third-party cookies.

Types of cookies according to their purpose:

  • Technical cookies: these allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and use its different options and services, including those used by the editor to allow website management and operation, and enable its functions and
services, for example, traffic control and data communication, identify login, enter restricted access areas, remember the elements of an order, complete an order purchase process , manage payment, control fraud linked to service security, request registration or participation in an event, counter visits for billing software licences for service operation (website, platform or application), use security elements while browsing, store content for the dissemination of videos or audio, enable dynamic content (e. g., text or image loading animation) or share content on social media. Due to their technical nature, this category also includes cookies for the efficient management of advertising spaces as another element of the design or "layout" of the service offered to the user included by the editor on a website, application or platform based on criteria such as the edited content, without collecting user information for other purposes, such as to personalise this advertising content or other content.
  • Preference or personalisation cookies: these allow information to be remembered so that the user can access the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, for example, language, number of results to be shown when the user runs a search, service appearance or content depending on the type of browser used to access the service or the region from which the user accesses the service, etc.
  • Analysis or measurement cookies: these allow the cookie manager to monitor and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked, including the quantification of ad impacts. Information collected through this type of cookie is used
to measure the activity of the website, application or platform in order to make improvements based on analysing user service use data.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: these allow advertising spaces on the website to be managed in the most efficient way possible. These cookies store information on user behaviour obtained by continuously observing their browsing habits,
which allows a specific profile to be developed in order to display advertising accordingly.
  • Geolocation cookies: these are used to find out where a user is when they request a service. This cookie is anonymous and is used, for example, to provide you with the appropriate information depending on the country you are in.

Types of Cookies according to the length of time they remain activated:

  • Session cookies: these are designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are normally used to store information that is only relevant to provide the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased) and disappear at the end of the session.
  • Persistent cookies: these are cookies in which data remain stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed during a period defined by the cookie manager, which can range from minutes to several years.
