What is Glucosamine?

Glucosamine is a well-known natural component of cartilage, that alone or in combination with chondroitin sulfate, supports joint health in pets. Glucosamine contributes to the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, which are building blocks for the formation of cartilage and supports the healthy development of cartilage and joint tissues. 
 

Mechanism of action of Glucosamine

• Inhibits free radicals.
• Reduces the levels of metalloproteases.
• Mild anti-inflammatory effect.
• Glucosamine source as substrate for the formation of glycosaminoglycans.
