Communications Director (Food, Pharma & Health)

As Communications Director, you will shape and lead Bioiberica’s corporate communications strategy, overseeing both internal and external communications in collaboration
with the three Business Units: Human Health, Animal Health, and Plant Health.
In this role, you will manage the annual budget and ensure all communication initiatives reinforce Bioiberica’s purpose, cultural principles, values, and strategic objectives.

External Communications
 

• Create content aligned with corporate pillars and ensure consistent brand application
• Provide support and guidance on COMMs strategy and execution to the 3 Business Units
• Act as main media contact; manage corporate comms, press releases, and agency collaboration
• Oversee website and social media strategy
• Lead crisis communications, KPI tracking, digital dashboard, and advertising ROI analysis

Internal Communications

• Drive alignment with new brand identity and Culture Principles
• Coordinate messaging across internal channels and produce internal content and videos
• Lead internal campaigns and the BioComms contributor group
• Manage corporate events and represent the company at external events and trade shows
• Collaborate with SARIA Food & Pharma’s M&C team which includes actively participating in divisional team meetings, sharing best practice updates and cost

• Extensive experience in corporate communications, external communications, or public relations is essential
• Proven track record in a senior leadership role within a communications function is essential
• Experience in science-based, pharmaceutical, or food-related industry is essential
• Comfortable working across multiple Business Units or operational divisions
• Experience supporting organisations through periods of change e.g. cultural transformation, is desirable
• Highly collaborative and supportive leader
• Proactive, structured with a solution-driven approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Spanish required
