The unique composition of Nucleoforce Livestock HF is designed to precisely and specifically meet the needs of monogastric animals (pigs, poultry), supporting optimal immune and digestive system development.
As elementary biomolecules of DNA and RNA, nucleotides are involved in biochemical and cellular processes involving a high rate of multiplication of genetic material, protein synthesis, cell replication and tissue maturation. This mainly affects animals at young ages and with immune system challenges.
At an early age, the immune system and the intestinal system are the two tissues with the highest rate of replication, and their rapid maturation and development is very important for a good productive start.
Nucleoforce Livestock HF can contribute to prevent diarrhoea and other challenges typical of young animals during the rapid maturation phase of the immune and intestinal system. Nucleotides are a component with great potential to contribute to the reduction of antibiotic use in animal production due to their immunomodulatory capacity and their proven effects on the intestinal development of several animal species.
Main effects on animals
- Modulates the adaptive response of piglets to weaning stress (1).
- Supports intestinal development in young animals (3).
- Proven effect on the incidence of diarrhoea in piglets (2).
- Positive effects on zootechnical parameters in piglets from sows fed nucleotide-based supplements (4).
- Proven effect on live weight, body weight gain and feed conversion rate in broilers in early growth stages (5).
- Boosts the immune system of broilers intoxicated by mycotoxins (6).

What are Nucleotides?
They are semi-essential nutrients characterised by the fact that they are the structural unit of nucleic acids in cells. Their molecular composition consists of a sugar, a nitrogenous base and one to three phosphate groups.
Why are they semi-essential nutrients?
Because under certain physiological conditions, endogenous synthesis is not sufficient to meet metabolic demand. For example, eggs and milk are naturally rich in nucleotides, providing young animals with a source of nucleotides available for the early stages of growth.
Main effects on animals
Nucleotides are especially necessary for the development of tissues with a high rate of cell replication, such as the reproductive, immune and digestive systems.
They play an important role in situations where their needs are not met by de novo or endogenous synthesis alone.
