Bioiberica's Environmental Policy forms part of the Company's General Policy and is explained in our Management Manual. It is established on the basis of Quality, respect for the Environment and Risk Prevention. These are the roads to obtain the satisfaction of our personnel, customers, suppliers, shareholders and socio-ecological environment.

The Company is a pioneer in this aspect and decided to adapt its Environmental Management System to the ISO 14001 and EMAS as an effective tool to help it deliver on the abovementioned objectives. The system which has been implemented has been checked in accordance with these regulations since 1997 and 1999 respectively.

The inclusion of the environmental factor in the company's daily work has had economic, managerial and personnel satisfaction benefits. Proof of this, please find attached to this document the figures showing the evolution of the principal Environmental Aspects derived from our activity.

Water Consumption 

Bioiberica promotes progressively improving optimal water management. Below we show the absolute values of well water consumption (the values indicated are absolute and do not reference productive activity, as such the moderated consumption with high production increases is very significant):

This decrease in the indicator is due to a rationalization in water consumption and the use of saved water. In 2017, 42.412,8 mof water were saved.
