Bioiberica has created a New Technologies Division with the aim of addressing the needs of all patients suffering from chondral pathologies, while taking a further step away from conventional therapy towards more specific, personalized and effective treatments for every patient.

The aim of this new division is therefore to establish and coordinate research projects in early diagnosis techniques, personalized therapies and the prevention of joint diseases.

Work is currently being done on the development of a test to diagnose osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. Pharmacogenomic projects are also under way to determine the profile of patients who respond to different osteoarthritis treatments, as are projects involving cell therapy to repair joint tissue in pathologies for which no treatment is currently available.

With this new division, Bioiberica has taken a step forward in the development of solutions to joint problems by focusing on people’s quality of life.
