We celebrate our 50th anniversary by relaunching our brand identity and unveiling a new website for a healthier and more sustainable future

At Bioiberica, we are celebrating this year. We commemorate our 50th anniversary with a significant milestone: the launch of a renewed brand identity that reflects our commitment to the future and our fundamental purpose.

This strategic rebranding, which culminates half a century of dedication to advancing the health and well-being of people, animals and plants, is presented with the new corporate purpose "For a healthier and safer world" and a renewed tagline, "We are all one", which accompanies our logo.

Key aspects of the rebranding

We have carried out a renewal of our identity, the result of an in-depth analysis of the market and other strategic aspects. We are updating and unifying our brand, with a new visual system and a new vibrant color palette. New typefaces, modern, accessible and easy to read on any format and device. And a distinctive icon for each business.

In our new identity everything comes together, everything connects and everything flows to represent much better what we are.

New corporate website

To complement this transformation, we have also launched this new corporate website, designed to project this renewed identity and a new visual system. The new digital platform offers a unified experience, with a clearer information architecture tailored to our customers in each of the three main business areas, (people, animals and plants), thus reflecting our essence from the inside out.

This new corporate website is the digital window that showcases this evolution, consolidating our history and projecting our future with clarity and transparency, always backed by the scientific rigour of our entire product range. As part of this celebration and our renewed identity, we delve deeper into the pillars that have marked our trajectory and define our commitment to a healthier and safer future for all: scientific innovation, our unique circular economy model and our excellence in production with complete traceability. 

To celebrate this milestone, we organised a "Family Day", inviting all our employees and their families to an open day at our factory in Palafolls. It was a unique opportunity to get to know the facilities up close, show what the company does, and enjoy activities and a meal together, thus reinforcing the sense of community and pride in belonging to the Bioiberica family.

Since our foundation in Palafolls (Barcelona) in 1975, we have been pioneers in the research, production and marketing of naturally sourced biomolecules, guided by our "One Health" approach. 

We approach science from a collaborative perspective and reinforce our activity as a driver of scientific, sustainable and quality advancement in the world. We are not only commemorating five decades of leadership in the sector as one of the world's leading producers of the active ingredient in heparin—which helps save more than 100 million lives a year—but the anniversary also underscores our vision of interconnected health as a catalyst for innovation.

"Celebrating our 50th anniversary with such a significant rebranding underscores our deep connection with life and science, and the dedication of our more than 500 professionals who operate in nine global production centres to offer a portfolio of more than 100 products to more than 80 countries," explains Luis Solera, CEO of Bioiberica. "Our new purpose, 'For a healthier and safer world', together with the tagline 'We are all one', encapsulate our vision of one health, where the well-being of people, animals and the planet are inseparable," he summarises.
