This year’s New Ag International will be held in the coming week in Nairobi, Kenya. It will be attended by visitors from more than 60 countries, who will come to consolidate knowledge on the latest trends in plant nutrition, biostimulants, irrigation and fertirrigation, greenhouse technology, precision agriculture, and other supporting systems.
Bioiberica will be attending this event as sponsor, and will present a new product, Enzyneer®. This product uses a new enzyme extraction technology that, aside from L-α-amino acids, extracts other bioactive compounds with hormone-like activity. Enzyneer® confers stronger resilience to plant stress, improve nutrient absorption and improve fruit quality.
The efficacy of Enzyneer® has been proved in photosynthesis regulation studies, hormone-like activity bio essays, and gene and proteomic expression analysis. New Ag International attendees will be able to find out more about these studies at booth 46-47 of the exhibitors' area.
Very soon all the products in Bioiberica’s range of biostimulants will add to their labels the Enzyneer® stamp, thus guaranteeing farmers eco-friendly protection against stress for their crops.
Fighting plant stress is key in African countries such as Kenya, where the livelihood of 80 per cent of the population depends on agriculture, and there is a high risk of plant stress because of droughts. The mango crop, for instance, which is of great importance for the economy of Kenya, is particularly susceptible to that kind of stress.
Bioiberica's primary goal is to continue offering solutions for maintaining optimal crop health when faced with inclement weather.
