Gabino Bolívar, Quality System and Data Integrity Technician, is the protagonist of a new session of our BioVibes, an initiative to get to know the Bioiberica family better through first-person portraits of employees from all our departments. Gabino tells us about his day-to-day work, what it means to be part of the team that ensures quality standards, and why teamwork is his greatest motivation.
"We are Bioiberica's quality police. What I like most about my job is being able to collaborate with colleagues and find solutions together."

"This April I will celebrate 10 years with the company," Gabino tells us with satisfaction. His career in the Quality Control department has made him one of the guarantors that everything produced at the factory meets the most demanding standards. "The quality role is the department in charge of ensuring that everything produced at the factory is under certain standards," he explains.
With his characteristic sense of humor, Gabino describes his work in a very graphic way: "We are Bioiberica's quality police and we impose fines if necessary." This metaphor reflects the importance of his work, but also the constructive approach with which they tackle the corrections necessary to maintain excellence.
What really defines Gabino's day-to-day work is constant collaboration with other teams. "What I like most about my job is being able to collaborate with colleagues. We work with many other departments. That work, listening to people and finding solutions is something that motivates me," he points out. This cross-functional nature makes his role especially enriching, as it requires continuous communication and networking.
The work environment is another aspect he values most: "With colleagues we joke around, there's a very good atmosphere and I think we get along well." This camaraderie extends beyond work, creating an environment where people enjoy working together.
Gabino enthusiastically mentions some of the details that make working at Bioiberica special: "There's a good atmosphere, a fabulous cafeteria. Every Thursday we do the paella quality control," he comments with laughter, showing how the team finds moments to share and enjoy together.
For Gabino, Bioiberica's success over five decades has a clear explanation: "I believe that a company can reach the age we have reached, mainly because of the people who work in it. It's a company where people are generally comfortable."
Looking to the future, Gabino emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement: "A 50-year-old company, if it's healthy, would need to live another 50 years." This vision reflects his commitment not only to current quality standards, but also to the constant evolution that will allow Bioiberica to continue being a reference in its sector.
