Flyral®, Bioiberica's fly food bait, obtains registration in Italy and Malta

Flyral® the fly food bait from Bioibérica Plant Health's biological attractant range has recently obtained registration in Italy and Malta on the basis of mutual recognition. With this authorisation, in Europe the product is now registered in Spain, Italy, and Malta.

 

This is a hydrolysed protein-based formula that serves as the base material to be mixed with authorised insecticides in the preparation of insecticide baits. Its benefits include high compatibility with insecticides and high effectiveness attracting adult diptera. In addition, the European Union has approved its use in organic farming.

Bioibérica also has other specific solutions to fight fly infestations that have a global impact on crops, such as Wax Trap®, Dacus Trap® and Suzukii Trap® Max Captures. In 2019, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food authorised the biological attractants Dacus Trap® and Suzukii Trap® as Other Means of Phytosanitary Defence (OMPD) for use in monitoring.
