A total of 132
representatives from several different International Research Institutes,
Universities and Private companies attended the 2nd International
Meeting of TEAM, held last week in Crete.
There were
presented a number of interesting papers dealing with several different topics:
population dynamics, taxonomy and genetics, control methods and strategies, as
well as economic and area wide management.
As a
conclusion, there were presented five posters related with mass trapping
systems, including Ceratitis capitata control on table grapes in Israel
by means of the Cera Trap mass trapping system.
