How does native (undenatured) type II collagen support joint health
Type II collagen is a core structural protein present in cartilage which gives tissues tensile strength and toughness to protect the joint. Some initial cartilage injuries however, can activate an autoimmune response against the body’s own naturally-occurring endogenous type II collagen, undermining joint health.
