What is heparin ammonium?
Heparin ammonium is a specific form of the widely used anticoagulant drug that helps pharmacists and clinicians conduct essential blood sampling, particularly in assays aimed at ammonia quantification. It is especially indicated as an alternative to sodium heparin in tests where blood sodium levels could interfere with results.

Storage and packing
Storage and handling conditions
Our heparin ammonium product does not require special storage conditions, however we recommend that it be kept in a cool, dry place, preferably at temperatures below 40ºC.
Handling instructions
Wear a dust mask, gloves and safety goggles.
Packaging
Our heparin ammonium API is sold as a white powder, triple-packed in polyethylene bags sealed and with a polyamide cable tie for drums and cans.
The product is available in the following containers according to quantity and customer specifications:
Drums of 60L, 30L and 2L, 100ml and 15ml vials.
The weight limit of our drums is 20 kg net.
All the containers are fitted with security seals to prevent any potential tampering.
