Cera Trap®
Cera Trap® is a specific food attractant for capturing Ceratitis capitata.
It is an effective and 100% environmentally friendly system for fruit fly control.
Cera Trap® evaporation causes the emission of volatile compounds, mainly amines and organic acids, which are highly attractive to adults specimens of this pest, especially to females.
Cera Trap® is applied inside traps (fly traps with holes) to facilitate the release of volatile compounds and capture the fly.

Placement is normally on the south or south-east side of the tree, at a height that can vary between 1.5 and 2.2 metres.
The quantity of Cera Trap® to be used is about 360-600 mL per trap, depending on the type of fly trap used.
