Dacus Trap® is a formulation or product or attractant based on a specific food attractant to capture of Bactrocera oleae (olive fruit fly) composed of protein sources with a high attraction power.
The Dacus Trap® system is a comprehensive solution to olive fruit fly control, combining the attractant Dacus Trap and the trap (disposable fly trap) in a single product.
Dacus Trap® is a 100% biological solution that does not require any insecticide, neither in the formulation itself nor in its subsequent use in the field.
The Dacus Trap® system is persistent (140 days) and its ease of use makes it a clean, fast and simple control method.

Dosage and instructions for use
Dacus Trap is a system designed exclusively for use on olive trees.
Dose
The density of the Dacus Trap System per hectare will depend on pest pressure and plot size, usually between 50 and 100 traps per hectare.
Time of application
Traps should be placed evenly over the plot and placement in July and August is recommended, depending on conditions and varieties.
